My third baby is a dream, and I often tell her that. It seems, compared to my first two children, that she is so much more placid. She is content to just watch her siblings playing and squabbling, observe the cat creeping about outside, and stare at the rain and leaves in silence. She can sit in one spot patiently playing with the same toy for a very long time – I've even forgotten about her a couple of times.
She is also a real smiler. Her two bottom teeth have popped out and it's always easy to spot them with her mouth in an open smile much of the time. Spoonfeeding her is difficult because of the food dropping out with all that smiling and laughing.
One thing I am thankful for is, like her brother and sister, she has consistently slept through the night from around 3 months old. However, so many nights after she has been put to bed the other two are up out of bed, running around and yelling. I have done workouts climbing the stairs to put them back in their beds with a good scolding, and Annie in the next room hasn't even made a sound.
Yep, she's been really easy so far. Just don't ask me how long it will last.
